Garden Barbecue

The exciting thing about the classic garden barbecue is that they can be as simple or as complicated as you wish to make them.

A barbecue for two with a couple of bottles of your favourite drink, on the terrace or in the garden can be an enjoyable and relaxing time while you sit back, relax and enjoy talking to your friends and enjoying your BBQ food.

Garden Barbecue

There are few things better in life than
sharing a sunny day with your friends
eating great BBQ food.
Planning a garden barbecue in advance is highly recommended, preferably allowing at least a few days ahead when you are catering for a small number of people, up to a few weeks ahead if you are hosting a garden barbecue for over 50 people.

You will find it much easier if you have a checklist to hand when planning ahead as it will help you keep a timeline of things that you need to do so that you will not get too confused at the last minute. Always allow for inclement weather, and using a gazebo when the weather is poor is both a good idea and a sound investment if you don't have one already.

A variety of food and drink should be available to suit your guests tastes, and do use unbreakable plates and glasses, you don't want any injuries that would end up spoiling your garden barbecue. Safety and hygiene should be the main priorities, and as tempting as it may be to cut corners, take sensible precautions to ensure you and your guests safety.

Set up your garden barbecue with decorations which can include brightly coloured banners, balloons, outdoor lighting and a selection of music. Keep it varied so there is something for everyone.

Also ensure your guests have plenty of seating and somewhere to place food and drinks. A huge range of garden furniture is available from your local garden centre as well as our BBQ store, or you can purchase from one of the many online stores if you know what you want. Patio heaters can extend the barbecue season into the cooler months of the year, and are a nice feature for your garden barbecue.
