The best way to keep your barbecue in good
condition
Several
barbecue manufacturers have designed barbecue covers specifically to
cover their own brand.
If
your BBQ doesn't come with a cover, you should be able to shop around
for a lesser known brand that has a cover that will do the job.
It's
worth protecting your investment, you want to get the best out of your
BBQ grill, we have a huge selection of BBQ covers, take a look below.
If you are one of the lucky ones and live in year round sunshine, it
may be that a barbecue cover is not entirely necessary, however if you
live somewhere where the weather is a little less predictable, which is
most places I know, a barbecue cover is something you should definately
invest in.
Depending
on the weather, it may be important to make sure that the cover is made
out of heavy duty fabric. On one of my barbecue covers, I found that
the corners were the first to show signs of wear gradually splitting,
allowing rain to enter.
There
are a number of barbecue covers that have a built in vent system to
allow air to circulate which will prevent a ballooning effect. These
come in a number of sizes and for various grill shapes. Get the closest
one to the size of your barbecue. Maybe a bit over the top, but if you
have an expensive BBQ it may be worth looking at.
The
basic vinyl cover comes in all shapes and sizes and can be found at
most good garden centres. Some covers come full length, which means
they will cover and protect the complete BBQ and grill. Some covers
have pockets in which to store barbecue utensils, a handy extra.

Barbecue covers also help to
keep insects from making their way into the grill, so it will be just
as clean as the last time you used it.
Bug debris is not
desirable, and ensuring that these critters are kept at bay is as
important to your hygiene as much as the appearance of your grill.
Be
sure barbecue covers are flame retardant, so in the event that the
grill was inadvertantly left on, your barbecue cover might save your
life by smothering out the fire.
