Perfect cover to replace my 9+ year old cover

Review Date: April 9, 2010
Reviewer: Lego Fan, Virginia, USA
I will admit that this cover is not 100% perfect. It does not last forever. I finally replaced my aging 9+ year old Weber cover with a new one recently. Just as the previous one, it fit like a glove and the new one was nice and soft and pliable, something the old cover lost gradually over the years of being out in the 100 degree summers and freezing winters.

All that I can say to the folks having trouble fitting theirs - either you bought the wrong cover for the Weber you own, or you need to get someone with a couple of brain cells to show you how it works. I can easily fit my cover by myself in 30 seconds with absolutely no problems. To the reviewer stating he doesn't know which side goes where - the cover has a foot-tall Weber logo on the one side - how long does it take you to figure out which side of the logo goes to which side of your Weber?

I fit mine by slipping the "table" end over the table and then slipping the dome end over the dome, and then straighten out the bottom. It takes me a couple of seconds, even with the old stiff cover.

I tend to buy Weber accessories - good quality and lasts (almost) forever.
Fits great; high quality

I have always bought cheap BBQ covers which usually become brittle and tear with a little exposure to the elements. This cover is good quality -- it feels like it is substantial and will last. The fit is a bit tight, but as long as you put it on equally from both sides, it is not a problem. With two people it would be a breeze!

I would recommend this BBQ cover.
takes a licken so the grill don't have to

yes, this grill cover is expensive, but it stands up to subzero weather and does not melt in the summer heat. This is more than just a dust cover for a grill. I purchased my own about 5 years ago and it is still going strong. The best part is that it has kept the surface of my perforer out of fading rays of the sun. I say you would be foolish to not buy a cover for your grill, and you would be smarter to pay the extra now if you are able to, because the other ones will rip on the edges. and investment well worth it to cover your cooking investment.
Great cover! Didn't think I'd find one.

My grille is 10 years old and the original cover had deteriorated and shrunk (presumably the result of sun exposure) to the point where it was worthless. I wasn't optimistic that I would find a replacement and was skeptical about this choice after reading 2-3 reviews that said the picture didn't match what was received and the "fit" was a problem. However, when one reviewer indicated that their grille was 10 years old, I felt more confident in my choice.
I wasn't disappointed. The cover fits perfectly and I was amazed at how nice the new cover is when compared to the old, cracked one.
Design flaw

The problem with this cover is that the design is somewhat flawed. You don't know easily which end goes on which side of the grill. Either side looks like it would work. Also, the fit is too tight to make it easy to put on. A tight fit is good, I guess, to keep the rain and critters out, but this one almost requires two people. Otherwise, fabric is good, etc. The one I had was 6 years old and needed replacing because it was always outdoors.
To Tight To Get On Properly

When I received this I was very excited because of the material. I needed a good cover for my Weber. However, putting it on is something different. There is a metal rim for the lid of my BBQ to sit on while looking at what I am cooking. It is extremely hard to get this cover over that part of the BBQ. I do not think they took this into account. Other than that, it totally keeps dust and rain off the BBQ.
Grill cover doesn't fit

I am not sure what the problem is but this cover will not fit my unit. It is frustrating to see the photo and think that this will fit but it doesn't. I had to send this back and lost out on my shipping charge. Won't do this again.
