With the price of pork being relatively inexpensive, and just as delicious and readily available as other meats, it is no surprise that BBQ'ed pork is so popular.
Pork chops are remarkably quick to cook, and are an ideal choice when time is short. This recipe is straightforward and requires no marination, though of course if time permits you can marinate them the night before.

BBQ Pork Chop Ingredients
4 pork loin chops or ribs chops 3/4 inch-thick
100ml Bone Suckin' Hiccupin' Hot Sauce or your favorite BBQ sauce
Directions
Gently brush the BBQ grill with oil and raise to a high heat, around 220c and sear the pork chops for 90 seconds on each side.
Reduce the heat on the grill to medium, or place the pork chops on a raised grill over the heat to lower the temperature and then apply a thin even coating of BBQ sauce on them.
Grill the chops for 3-4 minutes, basting continually with the BBQ sauce. Be careful not to add to much sauce in one go as this will result in drippings that could result in flareups and lower the temperature of charcoal if used.
Continue grilling for another 3-4 minutes until the meat juices run clear and the internal temperature reaches 145°F to 150°F. Always use a meat thermometer to check the doneness of the meat, and if you don't already have one, put it on your wishlist of things to get. They are and indespensable investment.
Remove the pork from the grill and plate them up onto a dish and allow to rest for 5-10 minutes before eating.
A Tip when cooking BBQ Pork Chops
When removing the chops from the BBQ, always remember to place them on a clean plate. Avoid using the plate that has been used for uncooked pork chops. This will greatly reduce the chances of any contamination caused by uncooked meat.
