Product Description |
I have the great good fortune to do a job that I love. I get to sit ringside, see the finest in sports entertainment at the best venues in the world, and be the "voice" for World Wrestling Entertainment. And best of all, they pay me for the privilege. However, when the lights go out and the show is over, that's when it turns into adventures in dining. I spend fifty weeks a year on the road, and I can tell you that there are a lot of great places to eat in this country. I can also tell you that the best way to enjoy the cuisines at many of the places that you pass by on the highway is to keep on driving. I'm sure that's why as the miles pile on and the years roll by, I remember with fondness the meals that came out of my mother's kitchen. Here are some of my favorite recipes. Recipes that are tried-and-true Oklahoma cooking. Many have been in my family for years. Since I can't have all of you over to my place, I've included some of my lovely wife Jan's own recipes. Not to be outdone, there are barbecue recipes that I have perfected through the years. And, with a good meal, you have to have a good story, so here's just some of the many stories that I haven't had a chance to share with you before, going back to my early days in the business. |

| Some of the recipes are healthy, some are a good way to get quick sick. If it were just J.R. and his recipes and food pics, okay, but no, on the cover is a picture of two famous women who help glorify violence and who act lascivious in front of the world and on the cover. This book glorifies the WWE, and the WWE glorifies violence and sensuality. It's also an insult to women. Anyone claiming to be a Christian, do not support this book, don't be a hypocrite, "Be perfect as your Father in heaven is perfect." - Jesus. |
