Competition Schedule for the New England Barbecue Society 2010

New England Barbecue Society

Around 1991, the New England Society for Wood Cookery was formed. In 1994, the Wood Cookery Society became The New England Barbecue Society, a stable, fiscally responsible, not-for-profit, group of dedicated BBQ cooks and consumers.

Along with the NEBS monthly print publication The National Barbecue News, the Society was born to offer New England grillers the opportunity to learn Southern style barbecue techniques, whether using wood, charcoal, or even gas.

Members of the New England Barbecue Society enjoy a wide range of benefits for a one-off membership fee.

Such benefits include subscription to The National Barbecue News (a monthly newspaper covering BBQ activities around the world) along with the NEBS own printed newsletter "Burnt Ends" which is included in every issue.

Discounted rates to enter NEBS grilling and barbecue competitions, cooking and judging schools as well as being able to enjoy special rates at local barbecue restaurants at their Roadtrip.
