How to use barbeque rubsNo
matter which way you use them, BBQ rubs add a distinct additional
flavour to any barbecue poultry, meat or vegetables that you care to
mention.
Simple to make, and easy to add to your food, using a barbeque rub will always improve the flavour.
Using barbecue rubs is easy and can be done in one of two ways.
You
can first take 1tsp of your preferred rub, and work it into the meat
with your fingers prior to cooking. During the cooking process, near
the end, baste the meat with your preferred barbecue sauce and
optionally serve with a seperate complimentary dipping or mop sauce for
those that like their meats slathered with it.
Secondly you can take 2 tsp of your BBQ rub and add it to 2 tablespoons of ketchup or an alternative homemade barbecue sauce base and then use the seasoned mixture on your meat, either as a basting mixture or as a sauce to be served with the meat.
Either way, using any barbecue rub using one, or both of these methods, will yield great results.
