Barbecue lamb marinade

A mouthwatering barbecue lamb marinade for you to try

Why not try this superb barbecue lamb marinade at your next BBQ? The lemon and honey add a great zingy sweetness while the asian influences offer an aromatic and spicy edge.


  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 15 ml wholegrain mustard
  • 2 g grated lemon zest
  • 30 ml lemon juice
  • 30 ml honey
  • 4 g Tandoori or red powder
  • 5 g Sambal Olek (Red chilli paste)
  • 2 g ground turmeric

DIRECTIONS

  1. In a glass bowl, stir together the garlic, mustard, lemon zest, lemon juice, honey, curry powder, chile paste and turmeric. Rub into any cut of lamb, and coat the meat in the barbecue lamb marinade and leave for at least 3 hours before cooking as required.
