
Pork and Beans

this traditional tasty and filling Pork and Beans recipe
2 lbs. navy beans 1 medium onion, diced 1/4 C brown sugar 1/2 C molasses 1/2 C catsup 1/4 C vinegar 1/4 C chopped bell pepper 1 T. prepared mustard 1 t. black pepper 1 t. salt 1/2 lb barbecued pork shoulder, shredded or chopped.
Cook
beans until tender, then mix beans and other ingredients into a
casserole dish with liquid to cover. Lay on the salt pork and cook at
275º for 3 hours, adding liquid as needed.
