
Stove Top Barbecued Chicken
Ingredients
1 tsp vegetable oil 1 cup finely chopped onion 1 cup ketchup 4 TBSP white vinegar 4 TBSP brown sugar 4 TBSP Worcestershire sauce 2 pounds chicken pieces, skinned 1 8 ounce package spinach or wide egg noodles
Preparation
Heat
oil in a large non-stick skillet; brown chicken and saute onion until
tender. Mix ketchup, vinegar, brown sugar and Worcestershire sauce in a
bowl and pour over chicken. Bring sauce to a boil, reduce heat.
Cover and simmer for 30 minutes or until chicken is cooked through.
Cool
and freeze chicken and sauce. To serve, thaw chicken and sauce; put in
large skillet and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until
bubbly.
Cook noodles according to directions; serve chicken over noodles.
