Pork Rub Recipe
When you need a rub to compliment your pork, this
pork rub will rise to the challenge
Ingredients:
3 tsp smoky/spicy paprika
2 tsp chili powder
2 tsp ground cumin
2 tsp demerera, brown packed sugar
2 tsp salt
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp ground black pepper
1 tsp white pepper
1 tsp cayenne or red pepper
Preparation:
Mix the pork rub ingredients together well in a mixing bowl and rub
into the pork well before cooking on the BBQ grill. This pork rub
recipe tastes even better when complimented with a BBQ sauce made up
with a scaled down list of ingredients listed above and then mixed with
tomato ketchup.
Baste the meat during the last 10 minutes of cooking and use the remaining ingredients as a side BBQ sauce when it is served.
