
Asian Barbecue Slathering Sauce
Ingredients
1/2c
ketchup
1/4c soy
sauce
1/2c corn
syrup
2 garlic
cloves, minced
1/2t
cinnamon
1/2t anise
seed
1/4t cloves
1/4t black
pepper
Preparation
Mix all
ingredients together and store in an airtight container. Refrigerate at
least 2 hours, allowing flavors to blend.
Brush on to meat during cooking process, basting every ten minutes.
Mixture can also be heated and served as a sauce.
