Finger-Lickin' BBQ Ribs
True to their name, these tasty BBQ ribs are
lip-smackingly good
Ingredients
3 racks baby-back ribs
1 cup bourbon whiskey
Jack Daniels Sizzling Smokehouse Blend Grilling Sauce
For the rub
1 tablespoon salt
1 tablespoon pepper
1 tablespoon paprika
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
Preparation
Place the ribs in a roasting pan and pour the bourbon over them. Allow
to marinate in the refrigerator for 1/2 hour, turning the ribs several
times.
Meanwhile, mix together the ingredients for the BBQ rub in a bowl and
stir to mix. Pour off and discard the bourbon. Sprinkle the ribs on
both sides with 2/3 of the rub, patting it in with your fingers. Let
the ribs marinate for 30 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Roast the ribs, uncovered, for about
30 minutes.
Meanwhile, preheat your grill to a medium-high heat.
Place the precooked rib racks on the grill and brush them liberally
with the grilling sauce. Grill the ribs until they are well browned and
glazed with the sauce. Sprinkle with the remaining rub.
Serve the remaining barbecue sauce on the side.
